Medical Center was established in October 1995. Its present new hospital was opened in January 2001. The surgery and obstetric services are free for people covered by general insurance. Specialist consultations at outpatient clinics are paid. Each natural delivery is anesthetized extradurally. The Caesarian section is anesthetized spinally or generally. The Caesarian sections are performed on women with no pain tolerance on request. In 2004, we had 302 childbirths. In 2005, we had 789 childbirths and 2147 surgeries. In 2006, we had 963 childbirths. We also carried out 2110 surgical procedures.     SURGERIES CARRIED OUT IN OUR HOSPITAL FOR THE INSURED ARE REFUNDED BY THE NATIONAL HEALTH FUND.
